Hubby and I were very fortunate to be invited to join some friends on a trip to Hermanus, the bonus was that they had a spare room and all we had to do was hop in the car and join them! I love free holidays! It didn’t take too much to convince us to pack an overnight bag and join Tim and Sally for a weekend away.
We left fairly early on Saturday morning, and headed off on the 90 minute drive to Hermanus. Once we arrived, we spent some time relaxing (and watching some rugby), then we went down to the tennis courts for a game of doubles. I really enjoyed the game, even though the last time I played any form of tennis, I was about 9 years old! I enjoyed being able to exercise with no pressure, seeing as I am usually training hard for some tournament or race, and to be able to just enjoy myself was wonderful.
After tennis, the boys started the braai going, and I wandered down to the beach to get a few sunset shots – any opportunity for a photo shoot!
