The best camera is {the one in your hand}

Sunset Camps BayOn Monday morning, I had every intention of taking my DSLR with me as I knew that I would have about 90 minutes after work before my next appointment.  I took a look at the weather report, saw that rain was predicted for the entire day, and decided that the camera would simply get wet, and left it at home.

You can imagine my horror when the rain cleared up around mid-afternoon, and I now was faced with the most beautiful sunset during the 90 minute window after work. I decided that rather than spending the time being upset that I didn’t have my camera with me, I would make the best of what I did have with me, and pulled out my cellphone.  Now, I don’t have an iPhone (if anyone wants to buy me one, let me know), but I do have a 5Mp camera on my Blackberry.  I spent the next 40 minutes or so wandering up and down the beach taking some of the most breathtaking photos of a sunset that I have ever taken!

I know that I won’t be able to print these on canvas, but they would probably be able to be blown up to about 5×7″ should I want to display them, which is definitely better than where I would have been had I sulked about not having my camera with me!
